Should I install Ubuntu? On my laptop (60GB HD), I have 33GB free space, would that be enough to dualboot with vista?

That's well enough, Ubuntu doesn't take up that much tbh. I think after you get Ubuntu, you'll remove Vista because it is a rather good operating system. My dad has it on his Mini 9 Netbook, and it's pretty versatile on 1GB RAM.

Most drivers are on Ubuntu, but you might be worth using VMWare for Vista. I'm trying to get XP and Ubuntu together, but I have a Vista laptop so I'm pretty stuck haha. 2GB RAM will send you flying, no doubt.

I'd see if you can find a free version of XP if you want to get rid of Vista.

I guess, but on 8.04 I never got any sound; hence why I removed it. Know any help Realtek High Definition Audio sound card? I never found any.
