    Default Customize Your Own Usertitle In HTML

    I originally posted this here..
    http://www.habboxforum.com/showthread.php?t=542941

    But now im posting it here to see what you think.

    Basically i just think VIPs + VIP+s should be able to add colours in there usertitle own there own, either by adding HTML, BBCODE or a WYSIWYG, (WYSIWYG is like when you post a thread/post and you highlist some text and click 'Bold' and it shows bold, WYSIWYG = What you see is what you get).

    I think BBCODE or WYSIWYG is the best idea as HTML is risky due to abuse of it.

    Should have added that if it were to be implemented it would be done for all VIP's across the board.

    Then people could do anything in HTML aslong as it fits in the text limit, which would be stupid

    Due to user abuse this would be awful. Though if this was to be attempted... wouldn't it just be a matter of modifying the usertitle before it's added to the database (assuming that the profile settings code isn't encrypted)?. Just something like:
    PHP Code:
    //for no html
    $usertitle htmlentities($usertitle);

    //for each other BBCode have a similar line
    $usertitle preg_replace("/\[b\](.*)\[\/b\]/","<b>$1</b>",$usertitle);

    //even a code for marquees
    $usertitle preg_replace("/\[marquee=(.+?)\](.+?)\[\/marquee\]/","<MARQUEE direction=\"$1\">$2</MARQUEE>",$usertitle);
    I assume would work (though I've never really poked around vbulletin).

    If this was added, it sure would save the VIP editor work.
