There are many ways to get furniture, most of which DO allow you to get "free" furniture, although in some cases this is not the fact.
The first way, and the obvious way, is to go to http://www.habbo.co.uk/credits where you will be able to browse many different ways for you to purchase credits, which you can, in turn, purchase furniture with.
To purchase credits, you could use your mobile phone to text habbo, use your credit card and purchase them online, or simply visit your nearest UKash/wallie card outlet and get one of the cards which you will find a special code on to enter into your habbo purse.
The next way to get furniture is, obviously, to beg for it! Be warned, this doesn't work as well as you may think it will when you first set out, but if you stick at it, you might just annoy somebody enough to give you a mode sofa or three!
The final, and most effective way of getting "free" furniture is to play games and participate in competitions, either held by habbo staff or normal habbos! There are many games to choose from, such as falling furniture, mocha theft and costume change, all with different aims, so you'll never get bored! Habbo staff events are advertised on the homepage; If you go to http://www.habbo.co.uk/articles you can view all articles which will show you what events are going on when, as well as competitions such as room design (probably not the best idea if you have no furni) and alteration comps, as well as occasional trax making comps, where you'll have to create a trax song with your trax machine.
You will also recieve 5 free credits occasionally for being a valued habbo member, these are usually given to habbos that have verified their email.
