Childhood Hero - Ends January 31st

I hope you all had a very nice Christmas and got what you wanted! However, far from the subject of Christmas, I was thinking about who my hero was back in the day when I was just a 'wee' child.

It could have been the jolly man himself - Santa, someone from your family (your mum, your uncle, etc.) or possibly a childrens' TV show character, such as Postman Pat or Fireman Sam. Anyone or anything that inspired you to be come who you are today could be your hero!

For example, mine was probably my mum, dad and Thomas the Tank Engine. Don't be harsh - my mum taught me good from bad, my dad inspired my youth with jibberish about motor vehicles and Thomas the Tank Engine - he was just one cool dude! So, who's yours?
