    Hey,
    in screen shots of other peoples WoW, I've noticed that some people have their attacks above the actual dock area, allowing for more attacks/skills to be displayed without opening the spell book, how do you do this? thanks!

    Go to the options pannel, then click on interface. From there you have options like; Combat, General etc.

    Click on Action Bars and then you can tick which ones you want. There's a bottom left, bottom right, top right 1, top right 2.

    The two top right ones just stand next to eachother, and imo take up too much room as two of them.

    But have a play around and see how you like them. When I'm levelling, and don't have most of my spells, I tend to have the Top Right 1 and Bottom Right.

    Expanding on what crimson said, theres also addons that lets you have completely new bars and customize where they are, how many in a row etc.

    Yeah crimson and nemo are right. As nemo said there are addons which you can use for action bars, one of the most popular ones being:
