Default Radeon HD 3650 will NOT run at 1440x900 resolution

    Hey,

So I got a new PC today, Dell Inspiron 530 with Intel Core2Quad 2.4GHz, 3GB/RAM and a ATI Radeon 3650 graphics card. My problem is that the card will not run at a 1440x900 resolution, which is the native resolution of my monitor.

If you have any ideas on this your help would be appreciated.

    Regards,

    Matthew

I'm a little clueless but, go on your Desktop, right click and like nVIDIA Control Panel. (Assuming your OS is Vista)

Then click on Display, it might be one of those settings. Just fiddle round with them.

Or if your monitor has an auto-adjust button, just hit that.

If you're downloading drivers, always download from official site (ATI or nVidia)

I do It is always best practice to do that to avoid viruses.

Problem sorted. I removed my KVM switch from between the PC and monitor.
