Will this wireless run xbox live

Right my mate has just got his wireless and his bro is wanting to get xbox live they got the wireless from currys and the man at currys said it wont run xbox live but they said that to mine and mine runs fine.

The wireless is a G as u may know u can get different types like G,G+,N etc i was wondering if it will be able to run xbox live or will they have to buy a new wireless?
