Default Ghost In The Shell SAC

For those who've seen the movies, this sir is a great anime.
After recently obtaining both series on DVD, they really do follow up with the awesomeness of the movies.

    Anyone else seen the movies/series?

I've seen both movies (and have them on DVD), and have both series on DVD but have only watched Stand Alone Complex so far, not 2ND GIG.

The movies are both masterpeices. Did you know that it was actually the first Ghost in the Shell movie that inspired The Matrix? The second movie is one of the most visually stunning things I have ever seen.

As for Stand Alone Complex, It really is an amazing series, but my god is it confusing. The most confusing anime I've seen, actually. The Stand Alone Episodes are easy enough to follow, but I found the complex one's a little hard to follow because of the amount of information you have to take in (while watching it subbed it's hard), and the way they're spaced out. I might have understood if I watched them back to back.

I'll have to get my hands on The Laughing Man movie DVD, which is all of the complex episodes from the first movie squashed into two hours. Might make more sense to me. I wanna get the movie for the second series as well, and Solid State Society too. Which I have hard excellent things about. That takes place two years after 2ND GIG though I think, so I want to watch the second series first. I think you can buy all three series based movies for like £20 on Amazon... I'm there!
