iPhone 3G -> iTunes help

Can someone help me get my music from my cd onto iTUnes on to my iPhone in stages in like a guide.

use itunes help :s

Put the CD in your PC, rip it to your computer using iTunes, it'll appear in 'Devices', when this is done;

Connect your iPhone to your computer and it'll appear under 'Devices', select for it to sync all music automatically from iTunes, now sync your iPhone and that should be it.

I could go into more detail but I feel this is a self-explanatory thing to do, dare I say idiot-proof.

Do you not need to convert them using that built in converter.. its being a few good year's since I bought a cd. Torrents ftw.
