Hey when I try and install Windows Live Messenger I always get this popup.

Everything on the net is working, I can watch videos, play habbo and just browse, but any ideas as why it is saying this?

Any help will be awarded with +REP

    Thanks

You're firewall could be blocking it to the net.

How could I stop this then?

    Edit:

TBH I don't think I have a firewall, this laptop is new so I've not really had the chance.

You're on a laptop you say?
Mhmm, all kinds of things with laptops and wireless happen.
So check the router, and how far away you are, msn does this all the time, quite annoying really.
Restart your internet thingy (the thing that connect you to the internet) and the open it again.

    Do any of them help?

I'm about 2 metres away from the router, I've restarted my laptop and my internet several times.

I don't think it has worked.

Indeed that was the case, thanks a lot. I had to turn my firewall off by visiting the CP.
