they dont allow it, i asked about the name 'ross' and it wasnt being used at all seemed it was a test account and they said no.

What have you got to lose, go for it.
If they say no phone up again and say it was my old account but I forgot my email and if they ask for xbox serial say it was my old xbox that got rrod.

id try phoning...they are really nice on the phone...ive spoken to them various times and they even gave me couple free games and a headset for talking nicely
