    Default Need help with jailbreak (2.2)

    I have the new quickpwn, And it tells me to find where the firmware bundle (ipsw) is on my pc. I cant find it anywhere..Any help?

    This is where iTunes has downloaded the latest software verion, if you do not have it, you must downlaod it from itunes by pressing "Update".

    if not, it's in; the iTunes folder (ithink music directory?)

    2.2 came with my ipod, and i just restored it to factory settings just so i could re install the 2.2 on to it in hope that it will download on to my pc.. I cant find it ANYWHERE

    Try downloading from the web would be your only hope if it came with 2.2

    Downloaded one of the internet, still wont work. Says firmware error string

    Sorry for double post, wont let me edit post above.

    Everyone is saying i should downgrade to 2.1, jailbreak then upgrade to 2.2 then jailbreak it again. Is it possible to downgrade?

    Quick question, are we talking the iPod Touch G1 or G2?

    Because, AFAIK the G2 can't be jailbroken yet? (correct me if I am wrong)

    EDIT: It's possible to downgrade using a .ipsw downloaded from the net I believe.

    If 2.2 came with your iPod then it's a 2G and you can't jailbreak it.

    Yeah ive kinda gound that out now ;[

    Are they gonna make it so the 2nd gens that came with 2.2 are gonna be jailbreakable?
