well my friend april ive known her for 10 years and she has this boyfriend called luke. i was talking to luke on msn about stuff and then got onto the subject of april and he said he wouldnt like to be with april forever not even for the rest of his teenanity . well i choose to tell april because i wanted to be loyal to her because she is my best friend after all. but i told her not to tell luke i told her and she told him. its made me really wound up because theyve sorted there relationship out and now lukes really annoyed with me and i told her not to tell him. and i sorta did her a favour in a way for telling her

He cant tell you things about your friend who you've known for 10 years, and not expect you to tell her =/

luke should know your loyalty stands with april. if hes telling you stuff, he should also know itll go to april eventually.

tbh, its better if you dont get involved in their relationship stuff.

u shdnt have to be the middleman in the first place because its their relationship not yours. i know ure a concerned friend but it just doesnt work out that way

tbh I can understand where he's coming from. How long have been going out for? that might make a difference.

If he told you in confidence, or asked you not to tell your friend then I can see why he is annoyed at you if so then he has every reason to ignore you.

He may not have wanted to be with her for ever, but maybe he wanted to stay with her and you telling your friend would have put their relationship in jeopardy so yeh he would have every right to ignore you.

On the other hand if you didn't tell your friend and she found out you knew this and then this luke cheated on her or something then she would be really angry at you, either way you were going to lose one of them and you made the right choice imo.

To be honest, I think luke was in the wrong here.. He really shouldn't have told you, because obviously you would tell April since you guys are good friends, and thats what friends do. I'd suggest trying to apologize to luke when he stops being thickheaded and stops ignoring you, and then you should also tell him not to tell you stuff like that, because you don't want to be caught in the middle and you've known April longer so your loyalty lies with her. Relationships are messy enough when they're your own, its ten times worse when you're getting involved with someone elses! Plus people change their minds a lot.. luke may not have even meant that (I've gone through short phases with different boyfriends when I'm fed up with them about something and so I go and complain to my best friend about how I'm sick of them or don't want to be with them, though usually a few days later I'm back to being completely blissful with them. Only thing is, unlike luke I don't go telling my boyfriends best friend! Lol..). But yeah, make sure you let Luke know and that you still want to be friends with him and you're sorry you betrayed his confidence, but that he shouldn't ever put you in the middle like that again.
