What do you think, its just a banner/navigation i know but its my first ever image in photoshop, what do you think rate/slate!

it's alright but i dont like the line where it is purple&reddish purple.

I accidently closed it and lost half of it - that why the line looks funny coz I forgot the colour code and had to guess it

How do I get the 'My Portfolio' part to look like it was drawn on a chalkboard with some chalk next to it?

Easiest way would be to go to:

Layer> Type> Render Layer

and then set the blend to Dissolve.. Thats the only thing i can think of :S
