Right so I said i was getting a LG Renoir if you remember, I orderd it around 3 weeks ago and well they said it was out of stock and they wud dispatch once it came back in stock.
Well i got a email yesterday saying it should cme tomorrow [monday]
I was wondering
its on a Orange contract,
Are contract phones already unlocked to any network or not?
Its from a reseller of carephonewarehouse.

Yeah I think nearly every contract phone is locked to there network. Although, I'm sure you can go to places and get them unlocked. Not sure about that though.

Oh okk. Because my brothers phone - Samsung E900 which he had on contract 2 years ago was unlocked so I was just wondering

Most phones which are from Carphonewarehouse are Unlock, they prefer to do that so they don't have to have certain stock of each network.

Yup it was unlocked, been using for a while v good phone
