    Default College or Sixth Form?

I'm not sure which one to go when i finish school this year.
I'm looking to carry on with 3 subjects most likely.
But at sixth form, it's the same people again, kinda gets boring.
However, at College, there'll be new people to meet so i'm stuck on choices.
Anyone got any advice on what to do?

College if you can, they treat you like an adult and you get a bit of independance like you would at University. Sixth form is just an extended bit of school really.

my 6th form is just like what you said about college rly. deffo different to year 10/11.

dont just go "ill go college" or "ill go 6th form". think about what you wanna do in the future and use that as a basis for which one you'll pick. also consider the pass rates for whatever 6th forms/colleges are around you. if you wanted to be like a plumber or a firefighter or woteva, then taking a college course would suit you better than 6th form. but if you wanted to be like a journalist, doctor or woteva then its 6th form probably. so yeah, just think about what job areas your interested in then go from there.

if your unsure for now, then think about what your good at and enjoy, and think if you could do a job related to that topic.

I have to agree that at 6th form they still treat you like you are in school and tbh you dont really get that much freedom, i have to apply for home study to leave early or to come in later.

College you can have new friends and more courses to choose from compared to 6th form.

Serious? Your 6th form must be one in a million. I'd go where the course is though, dirrty has a good idea! ^^

Completely depends on the course you want to do, colleges offer a wider array of subjects for you to choose from. You'll have to see all the colleges and 6th forms in your area see what is most suitable for travel arrangements etc. I went to 6th form because the 6th form I go to has good results in the subjects I want to do. If you really want a change go to college, 6th form is still a huge change anyway. You're not treated like you are in year 10/11 so where people have got that from is beyond me.
