    You know how you're all set out to face a challenge and all? Then you told your parents about it and how excited you are and then one of them just go "YOU? HAH. You'll give up soon as you start". So annoying. Self-esteem just went lower and lower. Cool huh? :rolleyes:

    Anyway, just wondering if you've ever gotten demoralised? Either by your friends or parents vote of confidence. Or lack of it. :/

    I took up tutoring and told my mum just now. She was like "You're not kidding are you?" And i went "GEE MUM THANKS FOR YOUR VOTE OF CONFIDENCE. YOU'RE THE BEST MUM IN THE WHOLE WORLD"

    aww babe.
    for me its just my mum who affects me. id expected for her to be supportive of me but no, she just had to say what she said. i was well bummed. i had a good day today too. she just had to ruin it.

    im not really bothered if others are not supportive of me. but shes my mum fgs.

    my mum supports me if I say stuff and that, basically just my dad and sister, but they are nothing so I try not to get bothered by it
