Since this thread is kinda over and done with I'll hijack it instead of clogging up the forum with another on a similar subject.

I wanna install windows 7 on my Dell Laptop, if I do will it have the drivers for the touchpad and keyboard and all that or do I have to get them from elsewhere? I've never installed a new OS on a laptop before

    Thanks in advance

If you are using Windows Vista at the moment you will be fine (Vista and 7 use the same drivers). If you are using XP at the moment download this (http://www.microsoft.com/windows/win...e-advisor.aspx) and check to see if there are drivers available. You could also make a new partition and have 2 os's running on your computer.

Mouse and keyboard etc will be able to use generic drivers built into the OS and if there's any compatible manufacturer drivers you can install them as well if you want.
