Default PC Problem / Windows Problem

Well, there is nothing I can do now as I just re-formatted my HDD and re-installed windows, but I had about 3 blue screens everytime I turned off my computer and then Windows seemed to just disappear.

I tried to use the repair function on the XP disk, but that prooved to be useless so now I am re-installing Windows. Dear oh dear.

I wanted to try and recover ONE FILE from my HDD, but no luck. I had just finished my english coursework, which has to be in on tuesday, but now it's lost.

Anyway, just a suggestion.. Make sure you backup your PC's files regularly. Thanks.

Internet Explorer needs to permanently be deleted, that is likely to be the issue.

Eurghh, Running into more troubles. I have phoned up the activation live for Microsoft's XP product, and they gave me the activation code. Now I have activated it, it keeps saying 'you need to activate this product', and when I click on it, it says, 'Windows is already activated on this PC'.

    Dear me..
