    Default How to prevent Blu-ray discs from scratching?

    I picked up GTA 4 and it had a few minor scratches how do I stop this from happening?

    stating the obvious, but take more care with it. All discs will get scratched sooner or later just try be more careful with them.

    I do care for my discs. I don't know what happens I just see minor scratches.

    Blu-ray discs can be scratched, but will never break or harm the data in any case.

    The protective casing on bluray discs is far superior to CD's and DVD's. Scratches shouldn't be a problem.. only thing i can think of is that it may damage the resale value.

    you can scrub brillo pads on blu-ray discs and they still work

    im guessing thats because the blue/violet ray can scan through the scratches??
