THIS is the shocking moment a 13-year-old was viciously beaten and suffered BRAIN DAMAGE in a so called 'happy-slapping' attack, filmed on a mobile phone.
Teenager Jack Blanchard is seen being kicked in the head and stamped on during the sickening assault last July.
Today, the evil thugs who put him in intensive care were locked up by a judge who lifted reporting restrictions so two out of three could be named.
Jordan Akehurst, 14, from Gillingham, Kent, was sentenced to four years in a Young Offenders Institute, after he admitted inflicting grievous bodily harm with intent.

Dylan Richards, 15, also from Gillingham, was ordered to serve 18 months in a Young Offenders Institute and given a training order after he admitted grievous bodily harm.
Devastating
The third boy, a 15-year-old who cannot be named, was sentenced to a two year supervision order, a reparation order of 24 hours and a curfew order for three months between 7pm and 6am.
The attack was carried out in front of other youngsters on a green near a Gillingham school.
Jack ended up in intensive care on a ventilator and has since undergone a change in his personality.
The lad, who also suffered a fractured eye socket, has had to learn to speak, wash and dress himself again.
Jack's family and the police have allowed footage of the attack to be made public to show how horrific the assault was.
Assistant District Crown Prosecutor Lisa Brown said: “This assault was nothing less than cowardly, gratuitous violence.
"It had a devastating effect on Jack Blanchard and his family.
"Jack was kicked, punched and stamped upon with considerable force and was left with horrific injuries."
She added: "The sentences passed are a warning to others that tough measures will be taken against those that think they can inflict grievous harm and get away with it.”
Detective Inspector Geoff Payne of Kent Police said: “We are pleased with the sentences which reflect the severity of this crime.
“I was horrified at the mindless violence shown in this attack."
That's an absolute disgrace. (If you click the link, it has the video of the attack.)
