    realy it depends how big the wav or midi or whatever your playing with it is, over a few mb, it will lag the page, and make it harder to use in genral, plus the page may freeze in some browsers until the full sound loop has been loaded, wich can be annoying, espealy if your not on high speed broad ban, and even one that with large files. playing threw a flash media is a better option since it doesmy lag the normal page why it istelf is still loading
