Don't have to have a parent but some shops require you to be 18 to trade in an 18 game for some reason. So you probably just can't trade in those.
EDIT: I thought you wanted to trade in 18 actual gamesNot 18 rated games.
Sorry, eBay or something like playtrade is your friend.

You can always sell them on ebay or something, probably get more value![]()
Sell it online such as CEX if you can't trade it in stores.
That's why we seize the moment, try to freeze it and own it, squeeze it and hold it cause we consider these minutes golden.
There's the games with film certificates (BBFC) and PEGI, one of them requires you to be that age or above to trade them in, the other doesn't. I can't remember which one it is, I'd guess it's BBFC but yes you'll probably need an adult if you're trading in 18 games, that does depend on who issued the certificate though.
What game isit?
My 32" Toshiba TV and 25 Xbox360 games
Pegi is the stricter one (from experience and loads of websites), its where game and gamestation refuse me =[There's the games with film certificates (BBFC) and PEGI, one of them requires you to be that age or above to trade them in, the other doesn't. From my experience BBFC is always the most strict, only recently have I seen them begin to enforce PEGI as much as the BBFC ratings.
PEGI in the UK is not "legally enforceable" whereas BBFC ratings are.
BBFC rating is frequently used on games rated "18+" by PEGI, such as Grand Theft Auto IV. BBFC rating is legally enforceable, but PEGI ratings are still usually found alongside for informative purposes.
