    Default recording wii and xbox.

    hi is there a way for me to record my xbox or wii to my computer? my tv has green blue and red sockets. not yellow.

    You're talking about Component Cables. The best way of recording HD to your computer is Hauppauge HD Pvr.

    With your xbox and wii, you should have got a scart adaptor.

    I'm pretty sure that if you buy Dazzle, av to av cables and splitters that it will work through the scart to the yellow,red and white.

    Not sure if it works though, but if it works through red white and yellow it should work through scart (?)

    From experience, plugging a Wii into a DVD recorder does not work, you get an error Just incase someone suggests it as an option.

    If you do it right it should work.

    Best way would be using a capture card or a TV card with those facilities. Look for Hauppauge cards.

    If you want it high def then you're going to have to shell out.

    buy a dazzle silver, 3 male splitters , 1 av to av wire and it need to be y/w/r in tv now g/b/r
