    Default Audacity problem [+REP]

    Hey there.
    Basiclly, I've done this before except the option I want to select doesn't seem to be there.
    Here's a picture:



    As you can see in the red box, there should be a drop-down menu selecting what type of input should be there.
    eg. Microphone, Stereo etc.

    Does anyone know how to get it back/perform the same action?

    Okay, lets do a simple check on your computer.

    What is your sysytem? XP or VISTA, MAC OS X, etc.
    What company Dell, Mac, etc.
    and whether its a laptop or not.
    Then I can work with you from there
