URGENT HELP (:

Right so my ps3 messed up probably my fault but it says
"Hard Drive Corrupt" and asks me to reformat on the ps3 so I do and it still doesnt work. So
I took the hard drive out, and then took my laptop hard drive out.
Put my ps3 hard drive in my laptop and when I boot it says

"Media Failiure"
"No Operating system"

Well obviously itd say that but.. I dont have a 2.5 inch hard drive enclosure so is thre any way I can simply reformat the hard drive without a operating system?

Any possible way :S

Use an operating system disc such as an XP disc to format it or set up a boot and nuke disc.

On windows setup I did a full reformat and then before it start copying the windows files I closed PC and took hard drive out and put back in PS3. Works fine now
