when i try and connect to one of my friends partys, it says cant connect to xbox live party. if they try and connect to mine, it says the same thing. also i cant connect to multiplayer games either. its not my subscription as it runs out on the 2nd of february. any help please?

Either yours or there nat type is moderate and it's stopping you from joining their party, just get someone else to creat the party for you? If that fails.. Go in a private chat.

It's common, you need a third party to connect together. Might just stop happening like mine did.

i cant do private chats either. also even if someone else creates the party it doesnt work. and its not the router settings as my sisters xbox workds

Then it's their routers nat type, they're probably set the moderate so some people can't connect to their party and they won't be able to connect to you.

Go on family settings and look through it.
