Default Lampard Red Card: Correct or Not?

    Liverpool vs Chelsea
    Sunday 1st Feb 2009

Frank Lampard was sent of in the second half. Correct decision or not?

Its difficult, but I say it should have been a yellow. He got the ball, and pulled away from the challenge.
Although, in the defence of the ref, Lampard was off the floor and had his studs showing.

    Difficult decision. Your views?

No he didn't, It definetly wasn't a red, barely a yellow & the referees view was obstructed so he has no say over it.

Not in my opinion. He hit the ball and then because of the speed carried on to take the leg.
    Back for a while.

The referee was right infront of Lampard when the challenge happened.
