I got my wii at the nearest xmas when it came out so now sure if mines got wifi

Do you mean able to play on-line? If you do then yes. But some times your wireless router wont support the wii so you have to get a Nintendo wifi adapter.
Sounds like someone wants to get.... funky.

The internet channel isn't free, it was when it came out

Well if you register on clubnintendo you can get stars/points and buy the internet on you're wii aslong as u have wifi

How does it work? I make an account stay active and I get points and I can use them to buy internet time on my Wii?

Well you register games on there and you get stars for games you register, i brought a harmonica (H)
