How much would I get for a good condition PS3 40GB with everything you would normally get when you buy one? And would they accept it without a controller because I kind of threw it on the floor when I kept losing a highway battle on need for speed so it's kiboshed.

No. They want everything that came with it usually unless its a lower known shop, ie. not GAME, Gamestation, Blockbuster Games.
