Iframe help

Ok so, I tried adding an expandable iframe to a layout, and basically whats happening (for me atleast) is it will not expand as far as it should go, and whenever I click a link that leads a new page to that frame it will load the page and expand the page farther everytime you click it..

I don't know if this is just my mac, or safari or w.e but yeah/

Ok now, I got it to stop expanding farther than it should when u load a new page, but now it's not expanding what-so-ever.
