Hey,
I am 16 years old and I was wondering what age you can take driving lessons in the UK at and get a Provisional Licence. People have different answers so any opinions would be greatful!

I'm sure its 17 for a provisional.
You can apply for your provisional license 3 months before your 17th birthday.
I know this because my license was issued in September and i was 17 in November.
However, you cannot actually have a driving lesson till you are 17. This is because you will not be covered on the driving instructors insurance on public roads.
However you can drive a car on 'private' land at any age with land owners permission.

You can apply for your provisional license 3 months before your 16th birthday. Yet you cant take lessons until your 17.

Normally, for car drivers, the earliest date your provisional licence can become valid is your 17th birthday, however you can apply for the licence up to three months before your 17th birthday.
