yeah well i've been thinking about it but i may not buy it cus the t-mobile people are idiots "_" though the coverage in my area is better then o2

It's brilliant because there are many developers developing new things for it. It's just a mini-operating system on a phone.

The only bad points I can think of are:

The camera is poor in low light, but fantastic in good light
The battery life is as bad as the iPhone's, but this is rumored to be increased with an OS update.

It's great though because it runs a whole mini Linux operating system and you have many developers working on it to create great apps, and until the Cupcake update comes out which has been delayed a lot already, ALL the apps are free, even ones that are on the App Store for iPhone which cost.

I love it personally.

G1 is a pretty healthy phone nice layout and what not, but it costs to much so i would say wait till it goes down.
