    Default Rate my new build.

This will build on what I already have, so if there are parts missing, I already have them:

*note* I don't know when I'll be getting this, should be in a few months maybe.

Oh and possibly a new case, not decided on one yet.

    Intel RAID Controller SRCSAS18E - Storage controller (RAID) - 8 Channel - SATA-150 / SAS - RAID 0, 1, 5, 10, 50 - PCI Express x8

    Samsung SpinPoint F1 HD103UJ 1TB Hard Drive SATAII *32MB Cache* - OEM

Gigabyte GA-EP45-DQ6 iP45 Socket 775 8 channel audio ATX Motherboard

they're all the things i could possibly change, not intending on changing gfx, cooler or sata cables.

Not bad. I'm guessing the raid controller will be going in one of the x16 slots as the board doesn't have an x8. Why such long sata cables? The standard lenght ones that come with the motherboard should be pleanty long enough, you'll just need more of them.

I'll use the cable management slots to take the length of the cable with the new case.

Yeah, but do they need to be that long in the first place? What case is it going in?

No idea, it's just there to make 100% sure they'll fit.
