    Default Microphone help

Right, as you see above I've boosted it and everything, yet I'm still as quiet as a mouse.

Mic Volume is blanked out, any way to boost my microphone so I am louder or increase the volume without using the boost?

    Thanks for any help.

On volume control, do options, properties, go to recording, tick all and then click OK, and then click advanced in the bottom left. Click Mic Boost, Box 1. Bingo

We need to know what microphone you have first. If it's a sub £10 one then you need to buy a more expensive one. They are cheap for a reason.
