    Default In need of a new laptop.

    Recommend some good ones? I will mainly be using it for mixing, (+ music in general) graphics, downloading and possibly gaming. Looking to spend around £250 - £350, maybe up to £400. +rep for good answers

    No! The Windows machine will do the same sort of job at a much lower cost. Only use Mac if you are a video editor, a music producer or maybe a graphic editor.

    The new DELL laptops, HP or Sony Vaio look as good (even better) than a Macintosh notebook, I beleive.

    It's MacBook, not Macintosh notebook

    Anyway, I guess personal preference, I wouldn't buy a Mac desktop unless it was a Mac Pro, I would only buy a notebook from them.

    The name of the computer is the Macintosh and the type is a notebook.

    THats like you saying Dell Notebook - even though its called a Dell Inspiron 15 (or whatever they are called).

    i do a bit of video editing now and again - and as i have mentioned i am keen to do graphics. my mate is a hardware whiz so ima see what he thinks. cheers for all the comments guys
