PS3 Problem.

Hi, I just got my ps3 and whenever I insert a new game or turn it up or update it, it knocks my whole internet connection off - pcs and ps3.

Because of this I am unable to update my PS3, as whenever I try my internet goes off before it even gets to 1%, why is this?

Maybe your connection is quite low? Have you testing the internet connection to make sure it is fully functional? and are you on a wireless network or not?

wireless, but my signal is usualy about 80% so it's not that.

Settings > Internet Settings (I think.. the one one at the bottom) > Internet Connection Test

Test the connection to see if anything is wrong Other than that, I dunno what to suggest, I think its most likely your modem/router but I'm not sure.
