    Default XBOX 360 Live Help.

Hey guys, I've had my Xbox for several years now and FINALLY decided to get live. I have my gold subscription plus a few 1 month trial things because of repair issues and went to set it up. I have a wireless adapter and it didnt work. I tried another and it didnt work. I was wondering what options I have and if I could use something other than the official adapter by microsoft.

    Thanks a bunch ,

Get an RJ-45 Cable, about £10 pounds and connect it all up. There is a guide on this forum somewhere.

Your Xbox should have come with an Ethernet cable, simply plug one end into your xbox then the other into your router. Or plug the other end into a device such as your laptop/computer and bridge the connections.

If you want to bridge the connections there is a guide in this section.
