Lost Bookmarks

So I did a clean install of Windows 7 and I kept my old windows files Windows.old and now I need my bookmarks back from Firefox.

I didn't make any backups of them so anyway I can get them back?

Not sure if this will work but..

Trying going into your windows.old folder and locating the folder:

Program Files > Mozilla Firefox > defaults > and copy and paste the profile folder and replace it with the new one on your 7 installation.

FIXED, I was doing some research and with firefox there is a file called places.sqllite and it has all your bookmakrs.!!
