Default [THE PURPLE VIEW] Whats So Good About?: Halo

Now, this one was actually... pretty easy... doing Half-Life required some serious nitpicking and making fun of even Gordon Freeman's lack of manliness. I guess thats my weakest series to date, but I think the second installment, Halo, makes up for it by a longshot.

Strangely enough, the most celebrated FPS franchise in the galaxy, is also the most over-rated , and going back and playing the old Halos was actually a trip down nostalgia road for me. I actually enjoyed researching this one, even though I don't like the written end result (my articles writing is never and was never that strong), I hope you'll enjoy them.

Once again, it's better to look at these one by one

    Part One
    Part Two
    Part Three
    Part Four
    Part Five

Stay tuned folks! WSGA isn't over yet...!

The reason I enjoyed it so much is just because you can get medals added to your online profile, so people could check how many kills etc you've got online, and the way you can stick people and get good theatre replays to creat machinima, forge is also very good so while someone is building you can snipe them etc, it just makes it a fun game to mess around on if there's quiet a few of you.

Yeah, Bungie.net alone is amazing. It has a map of the map you were on and you can see the location of EVERY death and EVERY kill you've EVER (I like emphasis) done.

Gordon Freeman is not lacking any manliness apart from the fact he hasn't screwed Alyx yet.

HE NEVER RUNS AWAY, HE TAKES DOWN STRIDERS AND ENTIRE CITADELS WITH THE HELP OF ONE WOMAN, HE IS THE LEADER OF THE HUMAN RESISTANCE! VIVE LA RESISTANCE, ROW ROW FIGHT THE POWAH

Woops forgot Bungie.net, I should add to all the articles that the online intergration is revolutionary - but maybe has the wrong game... who would've appreciated all the features with a maybe a diff game... like say COD4?

Also, Freeman is obviously lacking in manliness - he had to use Magnesium's device to take down the striders, and his lady friend was always there for him during Episode One. The only reason I can think of him being manly, is the ability to stare at her bewbs for hours on end.... what?

For instance, I enjoyed Call of Duty HQ for World at War because I could see how many kills I have per gun etc, if they done something similar like that to CoD4 I would use & enjoy it.
