Default Airport Cabin Crew just for gay people or for straight males too?

    Hey guys,
I just thought i'd see what you think about the heading, personaly all my mates think if your cabin crew and male your 'gay', do you think this is true?

I personaly think its a job for anyone, straight guys are afraid to be cabin crew, maybe because there afraid there friends might insult them or people might get the wrong idea of what sexuality you are interested in,

The reason why i am asking this question is because i was thinking of going into cabin crew, i dont care what people think im straight, the reason why i would like to go in for this job is because i have been on a plane like once in my lifetime lol due to my perants hating going abroad.

Are you straight and have a job as cabin crew?

Is it ok for straight people to work as cabin crew?

im not being rude, no offence to gay people, but there is certain jobs that people label as 'thats for gay people', i hope you understand what i mean also i aplogise if i offended anyone =[

    Thanks,
    Richie.

Ive had a male cabin crew on my flight to florida last august. it didnt even cross my mind that he would be gay lol.
    1. Jeremy 1129 up, 295 downA named based on the biblical name Jeremiah. Used as a name for children who are blessed with a large brain and/or penis. Also used as a replacement for "perfect".
We had a child and it had a very large penis so we named it Jeremy.

What wouldn't be OK with it? It's 2009, people can have whatever job they want regardless of them being male, female, shemale, black, white, orange (mostly in the case of cabin crew), yellow with purple polkadots, gay, straight, a bit of both. As long as you're a human with the right qualifications and give a good interview, I'm sure an airline would be happy to have you.

Male cabin crew really get it in the neck, you always have one **** who thinks he's god, he's drunk too much and he's decided to light a ***.

Happened on the last time I was on the plane, seriously the staff guy looked like he was going to kick some ass.

I don't think it's got anything directly to do with sexuality, I think camp is the word you're looking for.

Stereotypically, cabin crew are Camp (Often can be seen as gay). The only male flight attendant I've had, happened to be rather camp but what do you expect when it's quite an upbeat and cheery job.

Nothing wrong with it, it's just the stereotype is a rather common one so yes you could be perceived as camp, and possibly gay.

Blame the media and mile high or whatever that program was on years ago, with the gay guy who sleeps around. As Jordy says though, it's camp men really, they could be gay or straight and that sort of behaviour is something you come to learn about cabin crew, a cheery, upbeat job requires camp people. Look at Butlins!
