    Default redsn0w booting

    Hey,

I've had my iPod jailbroken with redsn0w for a while now, but earlier the battery went completely dead, so I connect it to the PC and nothing happens, 'USB Device not Recognized', and trying to put it in DFU Mode does nothing (same message) and iRecovery doesn't pick it up.

    Any ideas?

Leave it plugged in and charging for like 30 mins then boot it up. Even if it doesn't show in iTunes it's still charging.

Nope. If I delete libUSB the iPod appears, install and it disappears

That's not supposed to happen. Well usually if the ipod dies you just plug it in for a few and put in DFU then boot with a booter or the manual way. Try checking www.ipodtouchfans.com then go to the redsn0w section. I'll try and find a thread for you.

    Unplug it.

Plug your iPod's USB cable into your Xbox, PS3, anything with a USB port that isn't your computer.

Let it charge for about an hour.

Unplug it, and plug it back to your computer, put it in DFU mode.

You're going to have to do that, it might take a while, but keep trying.. you'll get it into DFU.
