okay can somone explain how u can buy a member pin for another person?
because to buy the member pin don't you have to log in? Or can you only trade member pins by SMS?

Well from what i understood of what you asked was,
Bascially one person buys pin, then sells it to you
When you have pin u log in and put it in BAM ur members, then u pay the HCs ect..
depends who goes first etc... if thats what u ment ?

I think he was just asking for clarification on the potential ways to buy membership for another person..

And so yes, I believe the only safe methods to buy membership without having to physically log into the person's account would be by SMS pin, a prepaid Runescape Card, or a prepaid Jagex Runescape Subscription Card.

For all 3 of those methods, you simply have to give the other person either the pin number (for the SMS method) or the string of numbers on the prepaid cards. They can log into their account and input this without you needing to access their account.

For pretty much all the other methods you would need to log into the account yourself to pay for membership (or give up your CC info or paypal info or whatever) which of course you should never ever do, along with you should never let anyone else access your account. So yeah, your best way to sell a pin would be with a prepaid card or a PIN, and as far as I know most people trade SMS pins.

I was wondering if you can use a homephone as a method of selling membership.

In the end you wait 3 minutes and you write down the pin. So wouldnt it work the same as a mobile phone? Both surfpin btw.
