Default [TUT] Youtube Music Videos in UK

Well since Youtube have banned people with UK IP Addresses from accessing music videos, I thought I may as well post this

Sorry this is only for Firefox and Internet Explorer, if someone can do some for the other browsers, I would be grateful

    Step 1:
First of all, were going to have to get a USA Proxy. To do this, go to http://www.xroxy.com/proxy-country-US.htm. All we need from this site is the IP and Port (Select any from that site).

    Step 2:
Now that we have got our IP and Port, were going to have to set our browser to connect using this proxy.

    Firefox:
    1. Click "Tools" on the menu bar, then "Options".
    2. Now navigate to "Advanced" on the tab.
    3. Now click on "Network" on the sub-tab.
    4. Where it says "Connection", "Configure how Firefox connects to the Internet". Click "Settings.."
    5. Tick the option "Manual proxy configuration" on the pop-up window.
    6. Now simply put the IP and Port you got from Xroxy and tick "Use this proxy server for all protocols".
    7. Now click "Ok" and your all set to go!

    Screen Shots:

    Internet Explorer:
    1. Click "Tools" on the menu bar, then "Internet Options".
    2. Now navigate to "Connections" on the tab.
    3. Where it says "Local Area Network (LAN) settings". Click "LAN Settings".
    4. Now tick the box which says "Use a proxy server for your LAN (These settings will not apply to dial-up or VPN connections).".
    5. Now simply put the IP and Port you got from Xroxy in the text boxes.
    5. Now click "Ok" and your all set to go!

    Screen Shots

    Note
: To be on the safe side, disable the proxy when your not using it! It may also slow down your connection slightly.

Use a FireFox plugin such as FoxyProxy and define it to use only the proxy for YouTube so you don't have all your browsing going through it.

IE users would use the section of the tut that says "Internet Explorer:".
