    Default Broken Disc

Basically whenever my Halo 3 discs been put in the xbox, the xbox has been making a kind of revving noise (like constantly start-stop reading the disc).

Now it won't read the disc at all. Theres no major scratching, but a small crack on the very inner ring of the disc.

Any worthwhile course of action? Or try sly a trade in and buy another copy?
    Doubt everything, even this.

I heard game station or game has this machine that if you place your disk in then it repairs it and cleans it (not 100 % sure tho)

Same thing has happened with my call of duty 4 disk

Sometimes you can just install the game and have the damaged disc inside the console and you can still play. Would depend if the disc could survive the installation.
    Seriously.

That's exactly what happened to mine, I might try Simmzay's solution and see if it works more frequently (although supposedly Halo is one of those bad games for installing)

When the disc is in you go to game library, click the game and click install. Usually it takes up several gigabytes though.
    Seriously.
