Port Forwarding [+REP]

I've tried to port forward hundreds of times, read millions of tutorials but it never seems to work for me, It look's like the most simple process but I must be missing out on something.

Would anyone be able to give me a hand on teamviewer to port forward, I only need to see it being done once then I should be able to do it myself.

I ant to know this too because when I go 192.168.1.1 and log in, it says nothing about portforwarding ???
