FF Alt Tab / Text box?

k i'm wondering.

On safari and internet explorer if i click on a text box then alt tab off it then alt tab back onto it, i can type and it'll appear in the text box

But on firefox if i alt tab onto it i need to click it again to type in it, anyway to change this or is it just an annoying feature of FF?
