Ok mine really broke so i read the maual and it told me to go to the site and i was looking around and i found this.
What you need:
A Guitar Hero Guitar or the serial number that comes on the inside of the bit were you put your batterys. If you dont have a serial try asking on Yahoo Question and say your making something.
Ok, after you have that go to this site
After you went there you will see a list of things, look at these three
After you do that click the console that you have, in my case 360, you will then be brought to a page that says select yor country if your from uk select Europe and then it will bring you to another page and ask you questions like21697 Xbox 360 Guitar Hero: World Tour My guitar is not working
21698 Playstation 3 Guitar Hero: World Tour My guitar is not working
21699 PlayStation 2 Guitar Hero: World Tour My guitar is not working
21700 Nintendo Wii Guitar Hero: World Tour My guitar is not working
Just answer them and keep click the >>> Button. When it comes to the question "Which part of your Guitar Hero game are you having problems with?" make sure to select the guitar. What country are you from?
What language would you like to use?
What console are you playing Guitar Hero on?
The next question will be "What issue are you having with your Guitar Hero product?" just select "Strum Bar not working."
Once you select strum bar it'll ask a load of questions just select "Yes" and then click ">>>"
Once you keep following the steps it'll ask you for the Serial number of the guitar, this is where you'll need to open the battery bit at the back of the guitar, remove the two AA batteries and then type in the serial number behind the batteries.
Once you enter in the serial, it'll confirm and give you an RMA number for tracking.
Now just wait for your Guitar to arrive at your doorstep, mine arrived 2 days after submitting.
