    Default Spilitting 1 ethernet port into 2

    My wireless is screwed ATM so can I use the one ethernet port on my Scientific Atlanta cable modem and using a RJ45/Ethernet splitter, have broadband on my Xbox 360 & Laptop at the same time?

    Also any links to cheap ones/reccomended ones is appreciated.

    You would need a hub or switch. Preferably a switch but that would cost more.

    You could get a cheap router.
    It deosn't mttaer waht oredr the ltteers in a wrod are, the olny iprmoetnt tihng is taht the frist and lsat ltteres are at the rghit pclae. The rset can be a tatol mses and you can sitll raed it wouthit a porbelm.
