This is a layout I made probably about a year ago now. When it was coded it was all ajax driven and the homepage was fully customizable with different backgrounds and modules etc...
Never posted publicly back then so wondering what you guys think...

It's reasonably good, looks pretty clean and I like how it's set out. However I think the corners of the "modules" look pretty bad, because the curve isn't really smooth
